About Martha de Lacey

Martha de Lacey spent a decade working as a journalist and copywriter before deciding that the thing she was actually most interested in was eating. While freelancing as a feature writer, in 2016 she launched a supperclub. The thing most people wanted to know was how to make her sourdough, so she launched a sourdough school in her home, and before long was teaching weekly classes on how to make perfect sourdough bread.

In April 2020 Martha put all her teachings online in the form of a subscription cooking school - a pandemic pivot which focused mainly on sourdough breads, fermented things and, of course, lots of stuff to put on toast.
