My Busy Brain

A Girl's Guide to ADHD

A frank and funny guide to ADHD for girls aged 8+, written by Speech and Language Therapist Cate Haynes

Bella is 11 years old and she has a busy brain. She also has a smelly brother, a (mostly) cute younger sister, hopeless dog called Dave, a cat called Mrs Whiskerton and a very messy bedroom.

Sometimes, having such a busy brain makes Bella have volcano-level meltdowns. What's even worse is that her latest meltdown happened in front of her best friends, the lads from school and the number-one-hottest boy in their year, Jay.

In this hilarious and relatable diary narrative, follow Bella as she navigates her ADHD diagnosis, along with growing up, friendship dramas and finding confidence in herself.

Packed with facts and advice from expert author Cate Haynes, a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with her own experience of ADHD.
