In Peter’s Halloween, Peter Rabbit is going to a party in the forest. As he ventures through the woods, who will surprise him with a spooky peek-a-BOO at every turn? Peep through the flaps to guess who’s on the other side then turn over and see! This brand-new board book is the perfect Halloween peekaboo story for all Peter Rabbit fans.

We will ask for proof of order when we get in touch so please keep hold of your receipt or invoice.

Terms and conditions

1. To take part in this promotion, entrants must purchase the UK edition board book of Peter’s Halloween: Peek-a-BOO ( 978-0241708132) from any UK retailer (online or in-store) by 23:59 BST by Friday the 24th of October 2025.

2. This promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter and their group companies, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion.

3. Entry via proof of purchase must be shared when a Penguin representative gets in touch. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Automatically generated entries or entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be considered. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned.

4. Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.

5. To enter, please purchase a copy of Peter’s Halloween: Peek-a-BOO from any UK retailer (online or in-store) and then fill in the form with your name and email. You will need to hold onto your receipt, proving purchase. If you are drawn as the winner, when we get in touch with you, we will ask for proof of purchase along with your name and postal address - please do not share any bank details with your proof of pre-order.

6. All correctly completed entries will be entered into a prize draw which will take place on Monday the 27th of October. The first entry drawn at random will be the winner.

8.  The prize is non-transferrable, and no cash alternative will be offered. The promoters’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.

9. The winners will be notified by email. The winner(s) must claim their prize within 30 days of the promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.

10. By entering this competition, all entrants agree to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of running the competition as detailed in these terms and conditions. 11.  Entrants’ personal details will be destroyed on completion of this promotion.

12. We will make the winner’s name and county available on request to the following email address SRGrant@penguinrandomhouse.co.uk (please state the name of the competition in the subject heading 10 weeks after the closing date). If you do not want your name and county to be made available in the event that you win, please let us know by emailing SRGrant@penguinrandomhouse.co.uk. Please note we are required to make the winner’s details available to the ASA if requested.

13.  The Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Promoter’s sole opinion) or who, in Promoter’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the competition, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of Promoter.
