Join acclaimed authors Jeanette Winterson, Malorie Blackman, Kamila Shamsie and Rebecca Solnit as they launch a major new series of feminist fairy tale retellings with Vintage Classics.

Fairy tales across the ages have been rich ground for retelling and reframing. With these new tales, Winterson, Blackman, Shamsie and Solnit have created provocative, riveting and urgent stories, suitable for children and adults. These arresting new titles assure that a fairy tale revolution is underway.  

Don’t miss your chance to get an inside look at how Cinderella Liberator, Blueblood, Hansel and Greta and Duckling came into being. The authors will discuss with one another their processes, inspirations and interpretations of long loved classics. This event is aimed at an adult audience, although those aged under 16 are welcome to attend.
