Note: You may be wondering why we have not included episodes from Series One of the TV series in this collection. This is because many of the sketches that formed the basis of the first TV series are published in The League of Gentlemen’s original BBC Radio series, On the Town with the League of Gentlemen. Although they were reworked a little for television, the Series One audio of these sketches is similar enough to their radio counterparts that we have not included them in this TV series compilation.

Debuting in 1981, Only Fools and Horses ran for more than two decades, clocking up 64 episodes and 16 Christmas specials. It drew record-breaking audiences, winning multiple BAFTAs and, in 1996, more than 24 million viewers tuned in to ‘Time on Our Hands’ – the most-watched sitcom episode in British television history. Its enduring popularity later inspired two spin-off TV series and a sell-out West End musical. 
 
Collected here are 10 triffic episodes of the legendary comedy, including Christmas special ‘Rodney Come Home’, which sees Raquel moving in, and the double bill ‘Miami Twice’, where Del Boy is mistaken for a mafia Don. There are dark clouds on the horizon in Series 7, as Rodney’s marriage to Cassandra hits the rocks, but moments of hilarity too, as Raquel duets with ‘singing dustman’ Tony Angelino at the local cabaret club. Often voted Britain’s best-loved sitcom, Only Fools and Horses ran on BBC One from 1981 to 2003, spanning seven series and 16 Christmas specials. Created and written by John Sullivan, the show won a string of awards, including BAFTAs, and the 1996 episode ‘Time on Our Hands’ attracted more than 24 million viewers, the highest ever for a British comedy. It remains one of the most celebrated and enduring programmes in UK television history. 
 
Now you can revisit how it all began, as we’re introduced to the Trotter trio – market trader and entrepreneur Del Boy (David Jason), his ‘little bruv’ Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst), who reluctantly gets roped in to Del’s dodgy dealings, and Grandad (Lennard Pearce), who minds their Peckham flat from the comfort of his armchair. 
 
When Rodney becomes a partner in Trotters Independent Traders, things don’t go quite as he’d hoped. Despite Del’s assurances that ‘this time next year, we’ll be millionaires’, his money-making wheezes always seem to backfire – from a bit of bother with some briefcases to an open-top bus tour that doesn’t attract any punters and a chandelier-cleaning scheme that ends in disaster… Plus, in ‘Christmas Crackers’, the Trotters contemplate yet another Christmas of TV repeats, closed pubs and Grandad's cooking; and in ‘Diamonds are for Heather’, Del meets a new woman – can romance cure his yuletide blues?

The answer is Great Unanswered Questions, a panel game in which resident funnyman Colin Murphy teams up with brainiac Dr David Booth and computer geek Matthew Collins to tackle ludicrous questions and provide the correct (or at least the funniest) answers. 
 
Each show features a guest comedian, and as Colin presents them with a quirky query to riff on, David attempts to offer some sense amidst the nonsense. Meanwhile, Matthew trawls the world wide web to find interesting and illuminating content and add some facts to the fun. 
 
Could pigs fly? Which wakes up first - you, or your eyes? Why do pizzas come in a square box? How much fat do you need to become bullet-proof? And does each of us have the potential to be a bright sparkling diamond? 
 
Among the comics answering the unanswerable are Jo Caulfield, Phill Jupitus, Dara O'Briain, Ardal O'Hanlon, Jason Manford and Holly Walsh. And in a special Edinburgh Festival show, Andrew Maxwell joins the team to inform, educate and entertain. You may not get the answers you were expecting, but you'll certainly have a few laughs...
