Ever since their mum died, free-spirit Elfie and her teen sister, Magda, have been stuck living with their extremely grumpy aunt in boring suburbia.

Now Elfie must work out how to use her magic for good - and help solve a mystery which has torn a small village in Northern France apart.
In Elfie's second adventure, The Song of the Cicadas, Elfie, Louette and Magda arrive in their book-bus in Gonerbes, a sun-baked village in Provence. They've come to visit Alistair Kinloch, a writer who was friend's with their maman. But Elfie quickly finds a new mystery to solve: someone has been threatening Alistair, and his beloved vintage typewriter, a gift from Maman, has been stolen . . . Worst still, it seems that Alistair's inspiration was stolen with it - and now Alistair can no longer write!
But who would want to harm Alistair, and why? It's up to Elfie - and some new magical friends - to find out . . .

#2 - Elfie's Spellbook Volume 3: The Gingerbread Disaster

#3 - Elfie's Spellbook Volumes 4 & 5
In the first story in this collection (Elfie's fourth adventure) Elfie and her sisters have arrived in the Pyrenees to vist their Grand-Pé, a mountain shepherd. But the girls are immediately worried about him. He doesn't seem to be upset about their mother having died - maybe he's getting confused?
But Elfie has another mystery to solve. She discovers her grandma was a knitting witch, and more importantly, that she knitted clues into blankets that only Elfie can see. Clues that could lead her to a fabulous treasure . . . so long as Elfie uses her magic to find it . . .
In Elfie's fifth adventure, she is invited to attend a grand Walpurgis Night celebration, on take place on an island in the Marais Poitevin - a beautiful area of western France known as 'the Venice of France'. And for once, during this very special festival hosted by witches and wizards, Magda and Louette will be allowed into Elfie's world of magic!
Caught up in the wonderful events, Elfie doesn't immediately realise there is danger threatening this place - and those she loves. Discovering spells and paper dragons they conjure, she knows she'll need all the help she can get to face the terrible situation. Fortunately, in the heart of the marsh there's Mélusine, a guardian fairy - who just looks just like Elfie's mother…
