Alfie Moore spent 18 years on the Humberside police force before turning to stand-up comedy. In each episode of this live stand-up show, he takes his audience through a scenario based on a real-life case and tasks them with deciding how they would have acted in the circumstances. 
 
Along the way Alfie spills the beans on what it's really like to be one of Britain's finest, tells us some great anecdotes about law breakers and makers that he's come across and gets his audience to divulge secrets about their own, sometimes less than strictly law-abiding lives.

Ever wondered what sort of a copper you might make? 
 
In these three series, policeman turned stand-up Alfie Moore gives his audience of deputies the chance to find out, as he swears them in and presents them with some real-life scenarios to see how they’ll deal with the dilemmas he faced. Sharing hilarious anecdotes from his time on the front line and giving a helpful breakdown of the ins and outs of British law, he invites them to explain what decisions they would have made – and why... 
 
With 18 years’ experience as a bobby on the beat, Alfie’s seen it all, and the stories from his casebook range from a delicate situation involving a worried daughter, an elderly father and his much younger girlfriend to a caravan conundrum, a neighbour dispute that turns dangerous and a potential case of coercive control. He also tackles the thorny issue of knife crime, takes us through the 10-week journey of training a new recruit – and tells a heartwarming tale of our favourite canine copper, Zeus the Police Dog. 
 
Also included is a Christmas Special, in which Alfie introduces us to a cavalcade of festive characters, including a gas station Grinch, an inebriated Mary and Joseph, and a Christmas Eve saviour.
