Back For Good

The band is getting back together. So are all their secrets.
In the 90s, Eva and Lisa were half of a massive girl band – L.O.V.E. They climbed the charts, toured the world – and front girl Eva broke Lisa’s heart. She chose fame over happiness; L.O.V.E over love.

Now, they’re reforming - Lisa, Olivia, Vee and Eva, together for the first time in over 20 years. But nothing is easy. Will their fans still love them? Can any of them still do a backflip? And can Lisa ever forgive Eva – let alone fall in love with her again?

From the author of ALL GROWN UP, this is a hilarious and heartwarming novel about nineties nostalgia, female friendship and finding our way back to ourselves.

It's a triumph! Funny, moving, a family-based drama at its best.

Uplifting . . . Witty and wise, ALL GROWN UP is a reminder that there are salient life lessons to be learned whatever your age

A witty retelling of a much-loved classic

Funny, tender & relatable at every level... quite simply, wonderful

What a GORGEOUS book! Such a charming, warm, optimistic read, exactly what I CRAVE. Just beautiful. An inspired premise, beautifully executed.

An absolute delight - impossibly funny, astute, candid and moving - I think Louisa M Alcott would be blown away by Daisy Buchanan's wonderful reimagining of the March sisters. And what a treat to spend time with their brilliant, battle-wearing and achingly human mother. A standout novel.

Riotously funny, achingly tender... a book to treat yourself to

Truly fresh, wildly funny and completely charming... some of the most perceptive writing on motherhood I’ve ever read. I adored it

Funny, moving, and wonderfully tender. All Grown Up is a joyful reminder that growing up never really ends.

Gorgeous from the first page to the last. Emotional, funny & chaotic with brilliant big-hearted & flawed characters all trying to grow up.

Wonderful, complex, bruising, rewarding ... I snaffled it like cake on a rainy day

This was simply joyful . . . Full of heart, and the knottier realities of motherhood - with moments of such emotional heft - this is a warm hug of a novel that is going to make thousands of people both happy and tearful (in the best way).

The only bad thing about All Grown Up is that it has to end. Lots of books are described as comforting but this book brought me genuine, genuine comfort: the perfect blend of familiar and the contemporary. It takes one hell of a writer to take on Little Women, but Daisy is one hell of a writer.

I adored All Grown Up. Delicious and charming, I was smitten from the very first line and emotionally wrung out by the last. Daisy has a way of writing that makes me feel like I'm talking to my wisest, warmest and funniest friend

What a beautifully-observed, funny and relatable novel.

Loved it! So clever and heart-warming

It's such a warm-hearted and thoughtful re-working of a beloved classic, woven through with Daisy's trademark wit, generosity of spirit and wry eye for modern life

'That pitch perfect blend of laugh-out-loud fun [and] bell-ringing thought-provokers'

One mother. Three adult daughters.
Loving each other is one thing. Living together is another.

After thirty long years, Louisa’s daughters can finally look after themselves … or so she thinks.

Because suddenly, they're back – apparently for good. Meg’s second-guessing her marriage. Jo’s career hangs in the balance. Amy has inexplicably quit university. None of them empty the dishwasher.

Louisa knows it’s time for some life lessons. She adores her girls, but if she’s ever going to get her (sex) life back, they’ll have to grow up – and go.

But maybe they’re not the only ones with lessons to learn… And Louisa might just discover that her daughters have something to teach her about being an adult too.
