A poignant memoir about the struggle of living with anxiety. Heartbreaking and perfectly funny at the same time, ANXIETYLAND showcases Gemma Correll’s tremendous gifts as an artist and the fortitude that has carried her through anxietyland and beyond

I have a vacation home in Anxietyland, and Gemma Correll perfectly captures the hunted animal feeling of being a depressed, anxious babe in a way that is so vulnerable and funny and good; this book is honest, and doesn’t feel like corny self-help, and is relatable in a way that makes you feel seen, not like a freak

A brave and relatable narrative that allows readers to gain deeper insight into their own emotional rollercoasters, and into what it means to live with mental illness

Correll writes honestly and generously about her experiences - what worked and what didn't - and her book is the perfect companion for anyone suffering from anxiety and other mood disorders. This book is the perfect blend of self-disclosure, somatic descriptions, real-talk about gnarly conditions, compassion, and most of all, hope. Everyone in my life needs this tender, heart-filled book

Gemma overcomes the most frustrating part of anxiety/depression, the inability to express it in words! It made me feel good because it’s funny, of course, but more importantly I felt less alone from page one, nay from the cover. It’s as valuable as months of talk therapy. I give it my highest recommendation which is my highest recommendation

Far-too-relatable and a-lot-bit-healing; Gemma sweeps playfulness and humor into the darkest and most anxious of corners. I loved this book
