Blow Me Away

Heather Frances is a writer, photographer, lifelong weather nerd and occasional storm chaser cleverly disguised as an adult with a day job in finance (though she really prefers writing kissing books). When not at home in New England drinking far too much coffee, you’ll find her somewhere with questionable cell phone service, camera in hand.

Actor Tyler Conrad might play a meteorologist on TV, but after a poorly timed promo makes him the face of the show’s latest PR disaster, he’s sent on a storm-filled apology tour. His guide is meteorologist Haley Morgan, fresh from spectacularly quitting her job live on air after years of being underestimated. Returning to her storm-chasing roots is irresistible – even with the obnoxious-yet-handsome Tyler along for the ride.Their initial spark soon becomes a whirlwind romance with a two-week expiration date. But as they face dangerous weather conditions, destruction and unexpected feelings, Haley and Tyler discover that together, they might just be the perfect storm.

Wedding photographer Sloane Michaels spends most of her year chasing brides, but she lives for the six weeks each spring she chases tornadoes instead.

When a prestigious nature magazine announces a storm-cover contest, Sloane knows winning could be her best chance to break into landscape photography.

The last thing she needs is distraction in the form of reckless storm-chasing legend “Wild Wes” Talbot. Her close, personal frenemy for a decade, Wes is also the man to beat.

Sloane isn’t surprised when Wes gets in an accident that jeopardizes his chances of winning. But when an active weather pattern emerges, she doubles down on her need to win fair and square and begrudgingly invites him to join her for the rest of the season.

As they race through hail, high winds, and stormy skies, Sloane realizes Wes might be more than the rich, flirty wildcard she thought she knew—and that the feelings brewing between them are even more charged than the storms they chase.
