The Inheritance Cycle

Eragon thought he was just an ordinary farm boy, until one day he discovers his destiny; to be a Dragon Rider. He and his faithful dragon, Saphira, must protect the land from the evil king, Galbatorix, with a combination of magic, loyalty and swordsmanship. Set in the fantasy land of Alagaesia, these four books follow the pair through a series of epic battles as they fight to rid the land of evil and restore peace.
