Holacracy

In traditional companies, managers devise a strategy which loyal workers execute. But Holacracy distributes decision-making throughout an organization. Its structure is defined by the roles required to pursue the organization's purpose, rather than individuals. Workers in those roles have the explicitly agreed authority to deal with their own areas, while managers are liberated from the burden of management.
