When beloved department store Libertines faces closure after the death of its owner, Melody – who inconveniently sees ghosts – is called in to help save it. Teaming up with the heir determined to protect her family’s legacy and one very persistent ghost, Melody throws herself into the case.

But the job also reunites her with Fletcher Gunn: her sceptical, infuriating, still-very-tempting ex. Fletcher doesn’t believe in ghosts, but as sparks fly once again, Melody must untangle family secrets, restless spirits, and the feelings she thought she’d buried long ago.
