We're offering readers the chance to recommend a title they'd love to see added to the series, with the top five most-recommended titles then to be voted on by our audience in the new year until there is one ultimate Reader's Choice!

Are there any limitations on what books I can suggest?
We are looking for recommendations for works that are 'out of copyright', which refers to titles by authors who lived up until 1955.
What books are already in the series?
You can find the full list of all the books currently published in 2025, and those coming next January here.
How will the top five books be selected?
The top five books will be based on the books most-recommended by readers in the survey form sent out via the Vintage newsletter in December.
When will you announce which five books have made it to the voting round?
The list of the five most-recommended books up for voting will be shared in mid-January on our social media channels and via our newsletter.
