20 years on from the ground-breaking publication of Noughts & Crosses, join iconic author Malorie Blackman to celebrate the release of the final, breath-taking instalment in the series – Endgame.

In Noughts & Crosses, Malorie Blackman began the story of a deeply forbidden romance between Sephy (a Cross) and Callum (a nought) – a love affair which had repercussions for their families for generations. Endgame, the conclusion to the series, influenced by the unprecedented global events of recent years, is full of twists and turns and emotions, with its incredible characters reaching a dramatic conclusion to their stories.

Join Malorie to hear more about the experience of writing and publishing the Noughts & Crosses books – a series that taught a generation to think and act differently – and to celebrate the powerful conclusion to a story that has gripped readers for the past 20 years. You will also have the opportunity to ask Malorie those questions that you’ve wondered over the years.

Malorie Blackman has written over seventy books for children and young adults, including the Noughts & Crosses series, Thief and a science-fiction thriller, Chasing the Stars. Many of her books have also been adapted for stage and television, including the BBC’s major 6-part production of Noughts & Crosses in 2020. She has also written for the BBC’s Doctor Who. Malorie has received the Eleanor Farjeon Award in recognition of her distinguished contribution to the world of children’s books and an OBE for her services to children’s literature, and between 2013 and 2015 she was the Children’s Laureate.
