Departure(s) by Julian Barnes

It may be a work of fiction, but Julian Barnes’ last ever novel is grounded in truth. Glyph by Ali Smith

When sisters Petra and Patch hear a terrifying story from the past, they invent a ghost-like character that haunts their imaginations.
